An Inspired Print

A while ago I created a print that was inspired by the Shirley poppies I planted for my mother and mother-in-law, both Shirley. I have always loved the print, but it was missing something.

Then, a few weeks ago, while I was having breakfast, I looked at this print, by Morandi, on my dining room wall and was inspired to add a bit more to the poppy print.
